[4 August] Week 3 Term 3 ends

The regular weekly report.

This is the first weekly report of this new blog. MSN Spaces was updated this Wednesday to become the “Windows Live Space”. I know bit about Microsoft’s “Live.com” plan and I understand these changes are part of the plan.

But their action is still unacceptable to me. That huge banner on the top of every space which owner didn’t pay for Microsoft is just making me sick, business can charge the users while providing the free service, but no one, no one can force me to pay.

So I decided to move here. Their new ugly themes are just look awful, no one was notified about changes and people don’t have power to keep the services what they were receiving.

I still need time to playing around with WordPress, so as you can see, after more than a year, Bear’s Blog is still in Beta version, it may just become part of the blog’s name:).

Back to school news this week. Friday was the first deadline for that huge 6 credits geography assessment. It was a simple 2 minutes oval presentation for research proposal but it has still made some people especially a stutter’s life hard. But fortunately the queue was too long so that my turn will be on next Monday, so lucky Friday escape.

However, the whole assessment has to keep going whether you’ve done your speech or and the things are even looking tougher forward. This weekend I will spend some time to design two survey form for my study, and next week, you may find a lonely student stand aside the Great South Road and counting traffic from 7am to 5pm, as well as handing out his naughty surveys.

When I get the huge amount of the work the thing I will do is get them done as soon as possible or not to do it at all. Most regular homework will fall into the second possibility but for internals, they are not just fun.

Also on Friday, one of my classmates in formclass had her last day in Penrose High, as you expected, a small share lunch was held at lunch time. I don’t have much with most of people attending but there is always one thing I know: food. Bit surprisingly I have found out that I lost interesting in those sorts of blackish chocolate cakes, and the sharing was just full of them.

I don’t have the photo for the lunch yet, once I got it I may try to put it here, I think this blog can set password for individual post, I may just try that.
