North Korea nuclear test
| North Korea |
I don't know whether countries like Iraq and Iran are axis of evil or not, but as a Chinese who konws more about asian politics, I know North Korea is.
Its dictatorship isn't a threat before as the people who suffer from that are most likely to be North Korean, and sadly rest of world can, and did live with it.
But things are now different, a dictatorship with nuclear weapon is nothing more than very very dangerous. In the last few years, the North Korea dictatorship actually kidnapped surrounding countries particularly China as hostages to fulfil its greedy needs, from food aid to endless economic supports that keeps the country running.
This news is not the saddest to me yet. The saddest thing I have seen is that most Chinese netizens are showing their happiness and 'respect' to a country that is dare to confront U.S.
Those nationalists have long history theory that puts N. Korea as a barrier between China and a possible enemy (most time this enemy is Japan, or America), therefore they "have to" "keep" North Korea "red".
Apart from keep hating Japan and America, those people cannot see that China has the greatest number of surrounding countries that have nuclear weapons: Russia, Pakistan, India and now adding North Korea, and most of those countries have a history of occupy Chinese land (Russia), or a current occupation (India, south Tibet), and now adding a new one that always kidnap Chinese as hostages to threat other countries.
But sadly, the government is just keep fuelling the hate to America and people don't see how dangerous this neighbouring country is. If a war broke out in North Korea and a nuclear weapon is used, the whole northeastern China is possible to under the nuclear radiation.
If that is not enough, what will happen if there is a war broke out between N Korea and China? This is possible if you didn't forget about similar things happened from Vietnam.

The news about death of Steve Irwin comes to many people as 'shock' news yesterday. Both sides of Tasman, people may not know about the name 'Steven Irwin' but they must heard the name 'The Crocodile Hunter'.
He was died as a result of stingray attack around 11am local time yesterday(Monday), while doing what he loved, filming a documentary about dangerous sea creatures.
Australian Prime Minister John Howard said "quite shocked and distressed at Steve Irwin's sudden, untimely and freakish death", and the Queensland Premier offered a state funeral to his family. Also many people online are putting the emoticon "(tu)" in their name to commemorate this 'Great Australian'
Across the Tasman, Some people regarded Steve Irwin as one of few Aussie personalities that both Aussies and Kiwis loved.
And I was just one of the many people that are inspired by his documentaries Like "The Crocodile Hunter" and "The Croco. Files". He brought us laugh, knowledge, and a great wildlife experience for people who can't stay wild as much as he did.
It's so sad to know that we won't see any new works from him anymore. To show my respect, along with other Wikipedians, we have started the Chinese version article of Steve Irwin yesterday.
Winnie the Spiderman
So our foreign minister Winston Peters is discharged from hospital in Australia. For public figures like Winnie, any news on him would cause a huge controversy and sometimes, jokes.
You should know that he was hospitalised because of a spider. As news reported, he sat on a spider while he was attending a meeting in Malaysia, thus this heroic spider bitted Winnie's ...buns and causing fever.
I learnt two things out from this.
1. Tropical forest is a dangerous place to place you buns.
2. People usually betray politicians while they were away. Jim Bolger is a good example, and this time, just few days ago I heard someone suggests we should done a deal with aussies: tell them to hold Winston as long as possible to stop him back to NZ, in return New Zealand government agrees to host half of aussie's psychiatric patients for free.
And I think that's a pretty good deal.
MSN is just getting ridiculous.
or shall I say "Windows Live Spaces"?
The newest update is totally an failure, this theme is just look awful and the banner on the top of the page is definitely putting me away.
The most important one,Micro$oft doesn't care to ask about people's opinion before any changes, so you don't expect they will listen anything after those changes, also changes in the future time.
If M$ is still thinking that people will just use any rubbishes they offer like the case of Windows, they are definitely wrong. In the age of Internet there's much more freedom to choose services and when you get unhappy about something, you just use your foot to express your feeling.
As far as I know, probably 50%+ of bloggers using MSN Spaces I seen are planning to move out from there.
And I am one of them. My old space will stop update very soon but remain opens as the archives. (Bear's Blog Beta - MSN Space)
