Google: It's a dangerous world out there
I was searching stuffs for my essay this morning, and suddenly this happened. In fact, every single result was flagged by Google as a site with "malwares". The glitches lasted for about half an hour.
Google fixed and explained what was hapened quite fast. According their blog, when they were updating the blacklist, the value " / " was accidentally checked as an identifier for sites with malwares, and of course, every URL got that slash.

"Let's go shopping!"
An excellent video clip from the Green Party which tells you a lot of interesting stuffs about the food in your local supermarket.
There are some political messages at end of the clip, ignore them if you want.
Pro-china rally in Aotea Square today
If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's the news.
I do not held a point of view on this kind of events. We are living in a free country so everyone has the right to get on the street and make his/her voice heard.
However, I do have an opinion on people who put themselves into this Tibet debate and protest thing. Whether they are pro-china or pro-Tibet; it is in my opinion that people from both sides are fundamentally the same - extremist, ignorant, and both sides believe they are representing the holy truth - the only difference is that they have different religious belief.
If you thought Chinese are non-religious people, you sure need to know a lot more about this country.
Anyway, I still just enjoy to use my camera to record everything down.

New 2008 Beijing Olympics cartoon
I felt unable to laugh on this one like the one before

It is unclear that who is the author of this cartoon therefore I'm unable to provide the original source.
I have a very grave concern about author's personal safety if he is living in China.
And this year's Nobel Peace Prize goes to...
Al Gore and UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
I don't know Al Gore much apart from his film "An Inconvenience Truth". I was shocked to see that movie although most of the data he used in the film are very familiar to me already.
Critics said that his movie exaggerated the effects of Global Warming. Yep, maybe a little bit, but in my opinion, that's one of his important contribution to the Global Warming. If Gore didn't exaggerate a bit of the facts in the "acceptable range", many ignorant Americans would still think that Global Warming is a lie and they are god's children so they can to do whatever they want. Is it really a lie? Just to see how many American cities were suffered from unusual heat this year.
And if the god really exists, I believe Hurricane Katrina is God's punishment.
Anyway, he truely deserves the prize and should be congratulated.
